I haven t tried the higher model. I read or heard that audioquest president always uses big sur with his car audio and andrew jones always has big sur as his favorite interconnect. The pbj s are excellent interconnects but i just found something better at 1 3 the price. However it is the big sur that yields the real hi fi sound quality.

Both hf and lf are extended. Golden gate uses air filled foamed polyethylene insulation on both conductors because air absorbs next to no energy and polyethylene is low loss and has a benign distortion profile.
